Rental Policy & Requirements

AGE & ID - To Rent you must be at least 18yrs old and have a valid California Drivers License

FIRST TIME RENTAL - First Time Renters are asked to fill out a standard rental application which includes name, address, phone number, employer and references. In addition you will be asked to provide a copy of a current utilities bill showing name and address at the time of the first rental.

SECURITY DEPOSIT - A security deposit is required on all non-account rentals. Types of security include cash, major credit cards, or checking account. The amount and type of security deposit is based on the size and type of rental, so please call us for details.

PAYMENT – All Rentals are payable in full at the time of issue unless a credit account has been established and is in good standing. Rentals maybe paid by cash, major credit card or preprinted local check (subject to approval).

RENTAL PERIODS & RATES – The minimum rental period is one day. All rentals are due back by 1pm on the return day. Any equipment returned late will incur a late fee in the amount of 50% of the daily charge for each day the item(s) are late. Sundays are always free! (Equipment rented on Saturday must be returned on the following Monday by 1pm). Please inquire about rental rates not shown on this list.

PICK UP & DELIVERY – Equipment is rented on a pick-up and return basis from our business location. We will go over the equipment with you and make sure that you are adequately trained to use it as intended. Gear Connection can also provide pick-up and delivery of equipment, as well as set-up,
operation, and break down of equipment, for an additional fee. Please call for detailed information regarding these optional services, or see the event services section.

Rental Reservations
When making a rental reservation, be sure to include your name, contact information, item(s) wanted for rental, and the date(s) of rental. Make a rental reservation at reservations@gearconnection.com.
